in protools go to the midi tab at the top of the screen, then look toward the bottom and choose midi beat clock, next check the box at the top that says enable midi beat clock, then check the correct port that ur using going out
then on the mpc hit mode+pad9 (midi/sync), and at the bottom of the screen choose F2 sync, then choose whatever channel u have ur midi cable running in to the mpc (either 1 or 2)
I've noticed that the timing is a little unstable even if you put a kick for the first two bars then go into ur song, its not far enough off to really be noticed but it is off sometimes, u can only tell if u zoom in and look at the waveform
maybe that will need to be fixed with the OS
