Is it possible to sync the MPC2500 with Cubase or Adobe Audition?

I would like to run my a capella from my computer and let it sync with the MPC so i can edit breaks in the beat!

Thanks in advance

Your 2500 manual can show you how to midi w/ external gear can't it?

You can also download the manuals for the other software and run through the midi section of syncing with external gear.

adobe audition, I have midi setup for that in my useful link thread.
I have a 2kxl, so that's what I've used for that setup info.

Yes, you can sync your MPC2500 to cubase or any other software (or hardware) which can send MIDI Clock over MIDI cables. The MPC does not do MIDI over USB so when using your computer you will need a MIDI interface such as a MOTU MIDI Express or similar products.

Good luck

to sync to the computer into cubase or whatever, you need a free midi in on the mpc. work it out. as far as your other gear, try using a midi thru on one of them.
