So I have an idea I've been toying with. If I have 1 GB of drum sounds with kicks, snares, hats all seperated into each directory... I could load all my sounds (memory permitting) and than as I contruct my beat browse through the kicks, snares..etc until i find the matches that best fit my beat.... than, in order to preserve memory going forward, just purge the unused samples. What do people think of this method?
