ive got the drum pattern layed out at a 91 tempo. the think what im having trouble with is matching the sample speed at the same tempo as the drum pattern, is there an easy way to get the sample speed to match the drum pattern. Ive tried to go in to the option edit in sample and tried to put new tempo at 91 but does not work. Can anybody help

U gotta chop it into sliced samples or patch phrase.

flag.

I am also interested in this technique because I have sometimes problem of matching the tempo already set to the sample.
If someone could develop the technique it would be great.

I think this post should be in producer tips.

Ok was no one listening to the man?

He said to chop the sample into smaller pieces and then match it. Heres a tip. Get your sample loop perfectly, then zone it into8 or 16 peices depending upon the sample length and replay the chops... Simple

Well, if matching the drums to the sample, you can use the tap tempo and tap to the tempo of the sample and tweak as necessary. The other way around, you can do as jacpot and emjay said(chopping into 8ths or 16ths) or pitch/tune the sample up or down. Keep at it and you'll be a pro in no time.
