"I'm a member of mpc-forums.com and they said you guys have the
Akai MPC 2500 for $1600. Just wondering if it is true. If so i am interested
in purchasing from you guys. Thanks."

"We sell the MPC-2500 for $1689.99. Shipping in the USA is generally
around $20. The available options are the CDM25 CD drive ($189.99) and the EXM-128 ($129.99) sample memory. It comes with the hard drive adaptor kit and a 32 MB compact flash card. We have them in stock. Thanks."

Best Regards,

Christian

I just sold my 1000 a week ago and now i'm thinking about the 2500. I thought the 2500 was for $1600. i was wondering if they jacked the price up because of the new O.S. Also, i know you guys said talk to Christian. Should i call him or am I going to get the same price either way? i know $1689.99 is still cheaper then $1999.99. But $1600.00 sounds better :D

As far as I know..Alto had the no hastle..lowest price of MPC 2500s in the US. They sold them as low as $1580. They may have gone up slightly over the past 2 months.

VSTs prices for the maxed out 2500 is exceptional as well..especially being that the first 2500s sold in the US were $1999 without no options..

Hey thanks Jahrome. I think i'm going to drop by GC and see if they can beat that price. i know they will match it but I'm going to see if they would go lower then that. That way I don't have to pay for shipping and having my MPC tossed around. Thanks. I'll see ya guys back on Friday! Can't wait.

If I had a the cake I'd definitely cop that 2500 off of VST. It's maxed out for just an extra bill!

i finally i got my 2500! i got it at GC for $1669.00. i tried to get some extra midi cables with it but i got 2 for 2 bucks each. but yeah, finally!! i know there isn't that much of a difference with the OS compared to the 1000 but this feels so much better. i'm lovin this drum grid.
