track mutes buggin out help needed please

Ive had the 2500 for a few months now, I love it I just recently installed the new OS. The problem is Ill record a performance on say track 4. Then Ill record another performance on track 5 using some of the same pads I used on track 4. If I mute track 5 then track 4 will mute at the same places the pads from track 5 were pressed. When I turn the pads mute group off then the problem is fixed. Hopefully there is another way to take care of this

you can "solo mute" also even if you have mute grouping, I think this might help you out a little
