Note Off???? / loop issues

Got my MPC 2500 new and I can't find the "note off" function so that the sample stops playing when i release the pad instead of always playing the whole thing.

Secondly, I cant get the samples to "loop" in the main window. The loop function works in "trim mode" but not in the main window.


Can someone help me out with this???

The "Note Off" is set when you highlight the sample in Program Mode and press the window button.

For the sample to loop, you have to set "Loop on" in the Loop page, right next to the Trim page. You can also set the loop points different from the start and end points if you open the little lock symbol in the middle - useful for sustained notes.
