MIDI note range problem

I have my MIDI kb connected to the MPC 2500 and the MIDI out to my sound module and am simply trying to sequence some MIDI bass notes.

The problem is that the MPC won't record any note lower than B0 - anything lower is completely lost so my bass lines are missing all the lower octaves!!

Am I doing something stupid here or is it really not possible to record MIDI notes lower than B0? If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

PS im using MPC OS version 1.1

For real though....this is a problem with the current OS that has been reported.

cheers jahrome. seems like quite a major bug tho, hopefully they'll get it sorted in the next os.

Hopefully some time soon, this is the main problem bug for me at the moment.
