Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

for someone whose never owned any previous MPC and jumping on the 2500, what would you score it's ease of use from 1-10?

thats my situation bruv, id say like 8 or 9, depends how confident you are generally with electronics i guess, like when u get a TV do you suss it out quickly? thats what i think anyway, i will say if you have some computer music knowlege its a doddle, probably quicker than learning a lot of music prod software, i find software can hinder some because if you dont know what things mean its a lot of information all at once, mpc breaks you in haha.

all mpcs score at about 9.

You should be making beats within an hour :) Songs take longer coz you've got to work out how it works best for you within your setup.

If you've never used a sampler before I guess the curve will be bigger.

ye i agree, im on OS 1.00 dunno mite upgrade to 1.1 soon but 1.2 wants to be the bad boy!

It depends on what you have worked with in the past. If you have used other amplers and sequensers. If you have it's a breeze if not then your in for it.
