Triton+25k Advantages

I was wondering what are the advantages of using the 2500 with a triton, specifically the extreme/studio(cause I'm plannin to cop one of those 2)?

I'm asking this cause I know you can make beats on the triton all alone but I personally feel more comfortable tappin on pads. . I've seen videos of producers takin a stock drum sound from the keyboard and put it on the mpc which is pretty cool, for me, I feel being able to do that would make it easier for me to make beats..

Lookin for some insight on this topic since I am new to the production game..

Maybe you should look into just getting the sounds from the triton in wav form & loading them into the mpc, unless you have another reason for getting the triton other than the sounds. It's alot cheaper which means you can get other gear you might need.

you can make beats on either one, all alone, no other machines.

triton has more features. mpc has pads. midi together you can use thr triton as a sound module, and also play the keys in your tracks, that's obvious. Midi up and you don't have to sample the triton sounds.

True! The triton does things the mpc can't do, and vice versus. For example, you can manipulate the triton's sounds with it's internal effects. The tirton has more effects and a extremely large sound bank. You can buy or sample the triton's sounds. Although, that would be good if you only want certain sounds-like it's drums kits. The triton extreme can be updated-thru usb. If your a sample based producer, like pete rock, then you may not have much use for a triton. But if you like to make tracks from scratch, like the neptunes, then you will feel more comfortable having a workstation. Most major producers, have at least one workstation/keyboard and sequence with a mpc. Having a workstation will also give you more flexibility.

It's excellent for sample based producers also. You just add your own samples into it ignoring the rom sounds inside. But that's main intention of a sample based producer anyway, right, to use samples?
