Hard Drive

So, I bought the 40 gig hard drive for my 2500.. installed it as it said in the manual (all of 1 page)...


Now, when I try to save files to the drive, the 2500 doesnt recognize it... it says there are 0.0MB Free.



Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

You need to format it first. Go to the load/save screen, select Utilit (F3 or F4 i think) select the hard drive with the data wheel and hit do it
