Yo, on the mpc 2000xl they hade this really ill feature on the parameter screen where it would show you the bpm and the bars so lets say the the samples bpm was 100 bpm at 4 bars if you turn the bars to 2 it would cut the bpm in half to 50 if you went to adjust the tune you could litterially see the bpms change as you tuned the sample so you always knew what your bpm was after you tuned the sample. Well on the 2500 if you tune the sample the detect tempo doesn't see it. It only sees the tempo of the original sample. I mean I shouldn't have to tap tempo for a pitched or tuned sample everytime for a bpm thats slow especially when your dealing with 40+ samples in one song. So my question is if I have 10 samples and they are different speeds and I don't want to time strecth I just want to tune up till they match exactly How would I do this. It's very simple on the xl so I know this machince can do it. Thank you.
