How are you syncing them together? What commands can be synced up?
Whack OS1.2 on. Read the Manual Addemedum.
You set the MPC to be the master then ableton to be a slave.
You can control Play Stop FFW RWD etc....
Onvce u get this going try to use the Arpeggiator in Ableton to trigger some stuff. And u can use multiple arps.
