MIDI Time Code Sonar 5

Does anyone else use Sonar 5?

Have you been successful in using MIDI time code with the 2500?

If so can you please inform me of the neccessary settings?


I've contacted akai
the maker of my soundcard
and I just sent an email to Cakewalk

what I would like to be able to do is use the MPC as the MASTER

so that sonar is picking up it's Time code from the MPC

i set the mpc as the master but when i press record in sonar, the mpc starts to record.

can someone tell me how to get the mpc to PLAY when i press record in sonar.

i was doin the same thing using midi sync before o.s 1.2
