CD-M25 to all 25k users with the optional cd drive installed

Hey All! I've been rocking my 25k for a couple of months now and love the box! I installed the cd drive about a month ago and loved the cd recording and burning . Since i had the drive it has slowly become less and less responsive to cd's, it just wont read them any more! it wont even read a blank disc to burn! I've upgraded my OS and dont know what to do! should i sell it and get a new one or see if i can get it replaced under warranty? I live in Australia and bought it from Canada, shipping might be a hassle. Just wondering if anyone else suffers from this problem or if it's just my drive. Any advise would be great, Thanks.

I think I remember reading someone else having this problem a few weeks back. Sorry to hear about that. I dont have the CD drive in mine so I can't offer up any suggestions to get it back up and running. What I would do is try to return it as a warranty or get it replaced. I dont think it should be going bad on you so soon. Good luck!

I will look into this....before the new OS, my CDM25 and hard drive worked fine...no problems. I have yet to burn anything with the latest OS though...
