delay when syncing mpc2500

hello all and thanks in advance i have searched the form and the net with no luck to my problem i'm syncing the 2500 using a midisport 8/8 and a delta 1010 tried both and same result theres a delay in the recording start time so the loop is cut at the front and long on the end has anyone else had this problem and i have tried on all daw's cubase,sonar and pro tools help if u can and thanks

Are you sure your soundcard is installed properly with ASIO drivers and all?

yes they are all of that is right when i set the mpc with a blank bar it works but i shouldn't have to do that never had to do it with the 2000xl

imho u should always use the blank bar in the beginning of a song when syncing. kinda gives your daw a chance to catch up to itself once u hit record+play. also sometimes your harddrive might fall asleep between takes so it needs a quick second to wake up... and that empty bar in the beginning comes in handy when editing as u might need to move stuff around or you might want to add something in there later
