WARNING for os 1.2

It has a bug in it that will not let your mpc load up. It will be stuck in a

window that says SYSTEM TEST. I suggest saving your o.s on the root

folder of your CF card.

Is that confirmed by Akai?

I haven't either but it only seems to have cropped up since OS 1.2 for other users.

To be honest though i've hardly used it since the update, been too busy.

I don't use it excessively either...but I'm waiting for it to happen on mine as well.

well I don't assume it's a user error, but I have about 30-40 hours of use since the new OS and have not come across this error. My os is on the HD

Did these problems occur during installling the OS?

Or, did the OS install properly....the MPC worked fine only to later produce this problem?

you lot need to sort ya heads out, ur constantly tryna find bugs with the os, its like ur obsessed!, THIS JAHROME GUY NEVER STOPS!.... just chill out and make some beats!

Offended?? No. Not really.

Satisfied with the new MPCs...no. Why? Because they need OS updates to fix certain bugs still. And while waiting for these fixes (which could have been reduced if actual MPC users test the OS), can't help but dream about features that would take the MPC to the next level.

Anyway, thanks for your interest in our wants/needs :wink:
