Ok reinstalled 1.1 now my machien cant change track type from drum to midi.......the tap tempo dosent work..... so I install 1.2 ......shit works fine for a bit I turn it off and on again and the tap tempo dont work aswell as i cant change my programs from the bottem of the track aswell as track type ...so i reinstall 1.1 ...all is well untill I shut off my machien again ,..... I could be here all night ....

SO should I take it back ...wait for an os update or fukking fart on beta testers meals over at akai!?

Have you tried the Reset once you have loaded an OS on it?

I'd put the latest OS on.
Then hardware reset.

This has got to be user error. Mine works just fine. Try reloading 1.1 or 1.2 and then do a reset. If that dont work, send it back!!!

I had that same behavior on my machine I posted something about it

after installing 1.2, but now that you mentioned it I think I had noticed it prior to installing 1.2.

Did anyone else notice that they weren't able to change track type from DRUM to MIDI (with any O.S.)?

This would happen to me occasionally, I couldn't reproduce it.
