I have crazy things happening with my new machine. If I play a looped sequence, samples randomly cut off after 4 or 5 times through, also having many midi issues, everytime I hit a key on my fatar, the voice changes in the motif. the time correct is also causing problems, the qunatizing seems to spread over all tarcks, not just eh selected track I wish to record on. Notes start missing from other tracks and all this other stuff. What can i do, does this sound like a software issue, or did I get a bad machine?

from mpc midi out ---> motif rack in
from mpc midi in ----> midi out on keyboard

always worked on the 2000

Your MPC should be working fine with it set-up this way. Make sure that the Motif Rack is set in multi and not voice. This is so that you can sequence tracks using instruments assigned to 16 MIDI channels instead of 1 MIDI channel if it is in voice mode.

But none of these settings will have an effect on samples cutting off. You will have to provide detailed information if you want anyone to help you troubleshoot your issues.

In the words of Denzel..."Explain it to me like you were talking to a 3 year old" :D
