Program samples not loading

I was working on a project and was creating a program as I was going along and saving the program as I added new samples to the pads. I was also saving All Songs and sequences frequently to my hard drive after every major change. I turned off the MPC and came back later to load in the file. The file loaded fine, I loaded in the program and hit play only to find that the sequence was not playing right at all. Open Hi hat events were missing and two tracks that had horns and bass samples weren't playing anything. To make sure I wasn't losing my mind, I went to the HD and the folder where I was keeping the program to see if the samples that are supposed to be part of the program were in the directory. They were there proving that I had in fact saved the program correctly. The samples were assigned in Bank B, for some reason when I loaded the program back in, the samples were not assigned to the pads anymore as if I had never saved them, but I did because the samples being in the folder with the program was the evidence. WEIRD.

I had just bit the bullet and upgraded to 1.2 so I was saving like a mad man, so I know it was saved as assigned . I thought I had recalled someone saying they had problems with programs, but I could not find it.

Anyone else have this happen?

By the way, I read the entire thread about saving correctly and that is not my issue. My sequences load in properly and I have no problem finding them. My probem is my program was saved correctly, but the pad mappings weren't retained--everything from bank B was not kept.

I too have experienced this bug aand it seems to only happen once. then after reloading it works from there on . This is another one that the first time after saving and reloading the programs on each channel are wrong. Then i need to save it agian for it to load right.

I worked with thissome more. IT only seems that the pad assignments don't get saved when saving All programs and samples (even with replace files set to 'y'. If I save a program by itself everything is fine. PRojects work fine too. So for now I'll just save each program seperately instead of using All. Sometimes I get on the MPc to just create kits and I'd like to put them in one file to use for Autoload, but I guess can't do that right now...
Oh well...

i have problems with insruments and programs missiing when I load em. Usually if I load it with "clear" in the load menu it'll work. But when I just load it in thats when ****'s missing.

This is something essential and it really frustrates me that I can't get this done.

Are there others who have this problem or is there a workaround?

I just want to map my samples to each pad and save it as Autoload for reloading it the next time I start up the 2500.

Anyone?

Doing it as an All file is out for me because the reasons in my post, BUT you can save the programs individually to the AUTOLOAD folder and have them load in. Since I'm building individual kits, this is probably a better way abyway...
