Some of my programs aren't loading up anymore. I'll save a new program for a beat then come back the next morning only to get a "Wrong File" message. I'm saving my work to a HD and I think that's part of my problem. How many of you are getting this messing? Does anyone know of any solutions?

What method do you use for saving,. do you only save a program, all seqs and songs, entire memory?

I had that problem a couple times before

now I always use save entire memory

Yes this use to be an issue. Its how you save. Although saving just the program should not be a problem it always better to just.....

1.Purge all samples and programs and sequences your not saving to
to that folder. (this is why I load 1 project at a time to work on)
2.Name all programs, sequences and samples accordingly.
3.Then save entire memory to its own folder or subfolder
4.Back it up to your cf card also the same way.

You shouldnt have any more problems. :P

Thanks guys. I'm starting to back up all of my programs to my cf card.
Which doesn't make much sense becuase I bought a 40gb hard drive to save all my stuff to.
I saving the program only though. I will start to save entire memory .

which OS are you on? I thought the wrong file was a 1.0 thing. I haven't seen it since then.

well I am not able to document it very well yet, but I did have issues with saving/loading, it looks very picky and buggy

I've also been sticking to the renaming of all samples and using save entire memory to a dedicated folder and it works fine.

For instance, the bug I had yesterday, it only happens if I do load while having the folder highlighted. If I lod the project file: shazam it works.

See what I mean? Picky.
