I just had the same thing happen . I was working on a SEq. for a couple of hours and out of nowhere I pressed Mode stepEdit(pad14) and BLAM start up 128Mb installed screen. I lost over an hours work from not saving This has got to stop. From one Bug to the next ...When will they get it right?.... I have about 40hours on the new OS before this happened...
Anyone else yet?

so i jus use my 1000 now it practically has (almost) everything d 2500 has
until they fix dat problem im not using dat machine n e more.i've been thinking of sending it back n getting a different machine

You'll have to remove the HD, test it
remove the RAM, test it

until you can no longer reproduce your issue...

right now there is no knowing what is causing, as most of us cheap bastards (ie.: no ram, no hd) never encountered that issue... AFAIK

I'm curious what computer did you use to download your OS Mac or PC
also what browser.... not that it matters but maybe somethings getting lost in translation

I had this happen only one time (not a single instance, but several times during a single session). I was on OS 1.1 at the time. I haven't had it since (knock on wood). I am on 1.21 now. Before it happened though, a lot of other strange things started happening on the MPC. Each time it was something different, but either the sound went out, menus froze, settings could not be changed.

PC download but don't think it has anything to do with it though

yes, I just had that happen last night. O.S 1.1 sucks because it gave me that problem. OS 1.2 sucks because of the system error issue???? What the hell???

ive had a problem where ill be browsing samples, and ill hit Do It(F6), and itll take me to the USB screen, which is F4. also ill hit Main, and sometimes itll take me to Track Mute screen when i was in Program.
at first i figured it was a new machine im trying to work to fast, maybe i accidently hit the button. but its happened about 5 or 6 times now.

come to think of it, im sure its happened in v1.1, v1.2, and v1.21

ok just now i hit Save Entire Memory, Do it, then i hit cancel, (F4) and the usb window came up. maybe i double clicked the button...?

I've had the same problem when browsing samples but mine jumps to the usb page after i've been pressing play (F5) after a while! It dosen't happen that often but it dose happen! This bug has to be fixed I'm sick of needing to go back to the load page and finding where i was at before it jumped to the usb page. Peace.
