whats good...

im tryin to find out what is the best (EASY) program to couperate with the mpc2500?

and also like when your using pro tools when you play multiple tracks does it record them to you can save the beat?
i just got pro tools and im trying to find out the faster way to use it.. ive read the manual and beleive me ive read it ove and over and i ned to no a faster way to do so.... i dont really no a good software to do so.. i need 2 no if theres a better software than pro tools....

Multitracking entirely depends on your soundcard.

As for better software, it's kind of a naive question since it all depends what you want to do with it.

I use an Alesis Multimix 12 FW console that sends the channels on my pc independently.

Then I have a virtual mixer for that console that I did using AudioMulch

And I multitrack with Adobe Audition.

There are many different ways to work using that setup, depending on what I'm doing.

so, what I'm saying is that you won't really get a good answer unless you know exactly what it is that you are trying to do.
