I am using a MC 505, and the 2500 is the master, all is working fine.
If I record a sequence in the 2500 from the 505. So I take the (R){Percussion} track from the 505 and trigger it from the 2500. It records fine. BUT what happens when i want to use the same (R) track on the 505, but adjust the eq/etc.
So I have recorded the kick. Eq'd it all fine then i go to record the snare and adjust the eq, but it changes the eq for the kick also {r} track.
Basically what I am asking is there a way to record the midi sequence and "freeze" the settings for that particular sound/track in the 2500, then change track on 2500 record the same track on 505 with a fresh eq.
I know some answers are going to be "sample", just looking for a time saver.
