File Management!

I just wanted to get you guys thoughts on how you organize your files... I just spent a couple of hours, renaming and regrouping the sounds on my harddrive, can you guys shed some light on how you organize your HD's??

i create a folders on my root drive. i have one for samples, one for midi clips, one for various mpc setups (templates). and then i have a folder for every project i do. and i name them;
project_beat_010606
then if i amend that file i'll save it next time as
project_beat_020606

back this up everytime i finish my session via usb to pc.

"CKRename" for batch file renaming helps alot.
