I searched but couldn't find anything on this....
I mounted my HD onto my Mac via USB, rearranged some things on the HD and then un-mounted it. After I saw that it was unmounted, I loaded a program and when I went to play the sounds back, I got a crazy static sound. The sounds are the exact length of the samples. So, I turned off the MPC and unplugged the USB cable, then turned the MPC back on and re-loaded the program.... Everything sounded fine. I retried everything with a new program and it seems to be the fact that when the USB stays plugged in, I get that crazy static sound. Anyone else have this problem?

did you play them with windows media player? that can get confused sometimes. especially the wmp 10 beta.

I played them in the MPC. I just used my Mac to organize the HD. I then unmounted the MPC but left the USB cable in it. Then, when I went to play back the sounds on the program I loaded, I got the static.

ahh i see. strange. it could be that the mpc thought they were both mounted and unmounted at the same time and got a little confused. i would say it's a bug if its repeatable. you should report it if that is the case.

I used to get this on 1.0 and i think 1.1 too. Haven't had it with the latest OS though.
