I've just got my mpc 2500 and have tried following the manual but don't seem to be able to import my samples from my mac on to the mpc. No disk appears on the mac when i try to save to the internal memory. I don't know if i need to use a particular type of file (i'm using wav.) and also once i do this how do i assign them so that i can play them back.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

have u gone to the load menu, cliked F4 for USB, and then mount....................

And note you cannot mount the internal memory...only the CF reader or the harddisk, if present. You can select which one from the USB page.

yeah i've tried it but the disk only appears when the "bonus track" flash crd that came with the mpc is inserted, not if the flash card slot is empty.

Of course not...what would you write to then?

I assume you don't have a harddisk? If so, just load the samples onto your CF card on your Mac, and then stick it into the MPC. If you don't have a card reader, repeat the procedure you already tried with the CF card in the MPC

load sample
go in to program mode
press pad A
then move the jog wheel (the jog wheel should be high-lighting the top left field)

do you see the samples scrolling thru at the top of the screen?

no? yes? or new thread? :?:
