Hey what's up forum! I am just here digging in to the black beast and I was wondering, why in the world did Akai not give you the ability to assign Efx 1 & 2, to any output of your choosing! I find it kind of limiting that you could only use it on the stereo out, anyone else feel this way!

I know that you could resample with your efx of choice but I think you should still be able to assign the efx to any bus/output you choose. For instance if you had drums on track 1-8 and you wanted to have them all run through bit Grd., then you could assign that efx to outs 1-8 and still be able to track 8 individual sounds into your daw, whereas with it only going through the stereo outs you would have to do (4) passes of (2) sounds in order to get it accomplished, now lets assume you had a sequence that was 3 or 4 minutes long, that would take a while!

Like I said before in my Patch Phrase post, I don't mind the bells and whistles but make sure that the 2500 can do everday practicle stuff first!
Anyway Black beauty is still a beast.

Peace

We all want extra features on our units, but you did buy the MPC knowing what it was capable of BEFORE you purchased it right?

I made an assumption that the Efx would work like it does on the 2000XL, no biggie, my Nubian Queen still satisfies me! :D

Haha, "my Nubian Queen." That's original.
