As of now I have 02 Midi Out>Midi Sport In-A. Midi Sport Out-A>MPC Midi In 1. I'm trying to get Trilogy to run into my MPC 2500 but I'm not sure if the problem is with my cable connection or with the software settings. The interface I have has an USB/Midi Thru button that lets you chooses either USB or Midi Thru. I want USB right? I've also got a USB cord powering my 02 controller, and another USB cable powering my interface. Is this the proper connection or did I screw this up? I've watched the Reason/MPC vid along with the Mano vids on FP, but I feel that my problem is possibly with the connection and not with the software settings.

I had the same setup.

Those boxes are a bit pap. If you want them to be merge boxes they have to powered up (USB'd + PC on) - then you need something like Cubase (or MIDI COnnection center) to be able to route A and B in to A out.

If you dont power the PC up and dont config the midi routing these boxes act as dumb pass through boxes. In otherwords, they dont do anything clever on their own.
