MPC2500 problem

Just got the mpc and loaded some sounds from my pc to the mpc, the sounds are showing in the load screen and i can play it. It then asks me if i wanna asign the sample sound to a pad , so i do that, but i can't seem to find the sound i just loaded on the main screen with all the pre-loaded sounds. can anyone tell me where i'm goin wrong?

look through your programs

disable the autoload function so you can start with an empty mpc...

>hit pad you want
>higlight sample name
>scroll until you find your sample name
