strange track sequence behaviour - urgent

i´m in the middle of programming a life set and now i can´t continue because of this:

in one sequence i play a snare starting bar 1 - i can hear it while recording - but NOT when i use the repeat fuction - then , no sound.. Playing back - no sound of that track - but in seq edit the notes show up: only not where i played them - i started bar 1 the start at bar 13???

Now i create a new sequence: same track same sound - all normal...
Copying the problem sequence to another and trying to record: same problem...

what is this?
I´d appreciate any help

never mind - i found the solution - but still it is a strange bug:

The loop fuction was set OFF but set to bar 13.1 to 16.1. the minute i set it back to 1.1 (still being OFF) i could record fine....

your not the only one...this drove me nuts for an hour or so one day.
