Do you think that it would be a good idea to be able to add folders in program mode? Instead of having to scroll through all the samples that are loaded into your MPC, you could create different folders and decide where you want each sample to go. Say I have a bunch of drum samples I want to load into my MPC. I could create a folder called Drums and when I go to load the samples from my hard drive, I would have them go into the Drum folder. You would do the same with a record you are sampling from. After you chop it up, you would have the samples go into another folder called Samples. Then when you go into program mode to assign all of the samples to a pad, there would be the two folders for you to select the samples from. So if I was making a drum program, I would only have to scroll through the samples into the Drum folder instead of every single sample that is loaded into the MPC. I don't know about you, but after I've been working on a track for a while and I have a bunch of samples loaded in the MPC, it becomes a pain to have to scroll through every single sample. Having folders would make things so much more organized. What do you think? Future OS maybe?
