Folders on the HD

Is there a way to make folders on the HD or sort throuhg them? When i load stuf via USB it just lists it a 1 folder an di cant look in it

Yes. The folder that you are looking at is the ROOT folder. You have to go into the ROOT folder and make subfolders.
