How do you change effect sets during the sequence or during the song in the song mode.
For example, I go to the step edit and create event ctrl change and choose effect set that i need. I press pad after pressing Insert (f5). And when the sequence is played nothing changes. Am I getting or doing something wrong?

Can you record the changes you make if you set the sequence recording, then make changes to the effects? Then playback - just an idea.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Still doesn't work. Or is it just me?
If you know how to do it, tell it in details, please.

Are these MIDI hardware effects? The reason I ask is that Cntl Changes are MIDI events you send to external kit.

No. I want to use built in effects for the samples in my MPC.

So, I have 2 sets of effects:
fisrt one:
fx1 - reverb
fx2 - no effect

and second set:
fx1 - reverb
fx2 - delay.

For example, I have two sequences and when I change effect set in one sequence it also changes in another one. And is it possible to change effects during one sequence?

in step edit window select View:effect
then press insert.

Yes you can change FX in one sequence.

there's a couple of things you could be doing wrong.

1.In Step edit mode , when you press F5 insert , you are choosing to insert an Effect event , right?

2.Once you insert the effect at the correct time that you want it at i.e 4.01.00 , you need to make sure that the event you inserted at 4.01.00(effect event)reads the correct EFFECT SELECT number i.e EFFECT SELECT:1 for your first effect and EFFECT SELECT:2 for you second effect.

3. In the Effect screen (Mode pad 12) hit F1 (select), from this screen you need to make sure that your second effect ( the one with reverb and delay) has the To FX2: set to YES and not NO

so it would look like this To FX2:YES
doing this links the effects reverb and delay. If this is not set to YES it will have only reverb.

I hope this helps you. :D
