how do i?...............

Sup fam,

quick question...i been studying my manual (b4 i start to get smart responses etc!!!!)

all im tryingto do is:
Say i have my chopped up samples etc..playing in a sequence (looped up etc)

if i want to record/play over my looped sequence (kicks/drums etc)
how do i stop my (kicks/drums) from cutting into my looped sequence??!

EG: while my loop is playing, everytime i press a pad for my kicks/drums
it DOESNT PLAY OVER THE SEQUENCE.....it cuts into the sequence with every pad press..(if that makes sense??!)

Any help will be appreciated fam

Remember, too, if you want the original chopped sample to cut each other off, you have to set the mute groups.
