Internal Hard Drive Question

Looked through a few pages of this forum, didn't see any topics. So...

Do the same hard drives that work for the 1000 work for the 2500?

If not, then what are some hard drives that do work for the 2500?

Is there any other isht I need to buy to install a hard drive? Do I need to upgrade the ram? Hella noob question I know, but some help would be greatly appreciated.

You should most definitely get the ram upgrade, you'll thank yourself later.

As far as the HD goes, I use a 60 gig travelstar(laptop Harddrive) which you can pick up at any PC store or BestBuy. You can use up to a 120 gig HD in your 2500. Both the 1000 and the 2500 use the same types of HD. For more help on deciding which HD to get check out this thread
