Does anyone know how to do this? I am not currently hooked up to a PC. All I want to do is get rid of some of the junk I made when I first got my 2500. When I delete, it just comes back next time I turn the machine on.

Any tips are appreciated.

What are you deleting?

Hard disk / mem card?

Are you opening folders then deleting the files individually or folder by folder?

I take it you cant access a computer at all?

I just want to delete some programs and sequences that I don't use anymore. They are saved to my hard drive, to the ROOT folder. I can't seem to permanently erase them. It's not a big deal right now b/c I still have tons of space, but I'm tired of having to scroll through them as I'm loading programs.

I have a PC but haven't bought the proper USB connect yet. Do I have to be linked to a PC just to erase stuff from my HD?

Thanks for your help.

It makes things a lot easier. The way I delete on the HD is: Go into the save screen, press the window button and it should give you the option to rename, delete, etc. Also, make things easier on yourself and save specific things to folders (i.e programs, samples, drums).
