Import midifile

Hiho guys, got the MPC 2500 since 4 days.
I normally produce music with my pc, I only got the mpc for some live-sets, cause notebooks suck

So, I produce music with maaaany speechsamples and so on, and on PC with synths from VSTs + normal samples like drums and so on...

So, I want to rebuild my tracks on the MPC, which is really hard, cause I have to convert my synths from the VSTs to waves, and if there is a synthsequence in the track which is 1 minute, convert it to a wave the ram is 10% full onyl of this snyth
Plus the other samples like drums, snares, speechsamples one track needs 1/4 space on the ram, that really sucks.

But I write because of another problem:

I produce my tracks in fruity loops, so, now I can save a track as a midi and copy it to my mpc, so I don't have to rebuild the whole track, for example the drums, snares, claps and so on.

But, every sample takes an own "track" on the mpc, and one track is about 10kb. If a musictrack from my pc got 15 different samples, only the "tracks" on the mpc are 150kb! + the samples.

I tried to copy the snare-track into the drum-track, but it doesn't work. Maybe you can give my an advice for this.

Ive followed a similar path in the beginning and my electronic live set is still workin like this...Acappellas, speech and some waves exported added to the midi drums and bass keys and so on.
I can have 60 minutes (more than 20 tracks)without stoppin using about 115mb of memory and i still could save some space.
Midis and Drums are not really heavy so theyre not a problem at all.
I converted most (!) of the sample to mono, I also used 'KEYS' (very light!) for nearly everything included some PADS & STRINGS. I find it very useful for BASS & BSSLINES, i just export my fave synths keys from gears and VSTi instr.
I wouldnt mess with Midi drums lines, its no use imo.
