Compressor W/Mix Outs

Can the on-board compressor be used with the 8 mix outs? Say I assign my drum track to mix outs 1/2. Is there a way for the compressor to be used with the outs?

Nope. FX only work on the main stereo outs.

That really sucks.... It would be really handy to be able to assign the fx output to the multi's. Or split the original sample & the wet fx channel on different outputs.

I wont be throwing away all my outboard fx gear just yet then..

...think backwards: assign the wet to the stereo out and your dry sample to two of the assignable outs - then you have what you wanted...

You could put effects on the pad, then record them with effects by recording the main outs, and finally put them through the assignable outs.
