MPC2500 + Motif ES

Good day,
I've just got my Motif Es and can't connect it to MPC2500. I mean can't get the result i want..
I want to use my MPC as sequencer where i put down drums or whatever and also be able to use Motif sounds in beats..
How can I achieve it and what gear should i have (number of MIDI cables mainly)?
I tried to get thru manuals but can't get the exactly way..
Also please tell me how is it better to save my stuff if i add to MPC sounds some of Motif sounds...

1 midi cable.. ins (motif) outs (mpc),
eaither digital out of motf into mp,
and u need to be using multi mode.. not voice...
