easy way of loading and assign ?

ok so i have only 16mb of memory in my 2500 so i keep the mpc empty all the time ... but my question is how i load samples into pad banks fast and easy when i want to make a beat ?

its very frustrating to load each wav into a pad, is there an easy way to loading banks and assign them on pads ?

Your pad banks are Programs.
Save your Programs 'With Samples'.
Load your Programs 'With Samples'.

If you mean that you've got an array of new samples that you want to have loaded straight into an empty Program and get assigned to pads automatically then.... I dunno

yes when i want new samples, cuz i don't want to make a new bit with the old samples

each and every .WAV you have to put it manualy ?

if so what do you do if when you have 32 samples or more and you want to have them in mpc on pads ?

Try out Bluebox, that's the only alternative I know of.

As long as they're 16bit .wav files, they should be fine.

I have been asking for a easier way to do this for over a year now. The JJ OS addressed this with giving you the option to load samples and assign them to an open pad...but you still have to do this with every pad. This is a horrible feature though. I would like to select multiple files to load and have the MPC automatically assign samples to a given program.

Well.. umm. First thing Id do is upgrade your memory.. youre doing a disservice to yourself only have 16. Having the mpc "empty" all the time is... well... stupid. LOL. Thats one of the main points of having this MPC, as opposed to the 2000/xl. Max that memory out, man, and put it to use.

As for easy assigning... well... I dont know... you only need to assign sounds once for each program.. it may take a few minutes to do it, but its not so lengthy as to be that prohibitive.. Just do it.. LOL. Id much rather assign the sounds myself so I can group similar sounds together, etc..
