hitting retry on pitch shift takes me to trim page, why?

I'm editing a sample through the program mode

(via parameters -> edit)


When i hit "do it", it will take me to the page that says

Play OverW Retry Keep


When I hit Retry, it takes me to the Trim page for some reason, and not back to the edit screen.

Wtf is going on with my MPC? is it a setting i accidently hit or is my MPC just **** up?

I'm running the akai 1.22 OS

Perhaps someone could go through those steps and see if they also get the same thing. according to the manual it should go back to the sample edit window when you hit retry.

I've had weird menu jumps like this as well, but nothing constant, mine always occur randomly and very,very,very far in between. If it's happening consistently something is definitely wrong.

wait a minute... isn't the TRIM page the same thing as the SAMPLE EDIT window? just checking.

try it

go to the program menu, go to params, hit edit

and do a pitchshift. then, hit retry and report back here where it goes.

Same here. Very odd though only seems to be when I pitch shift. Timestretch it doesnt happen.

Phew, well at least I'm not the only one thats getting it.

Seems ilke a design flaw to me...

Yeah it's gotta be an OS thing because I use 1.21 and it doesn't happen.
