bad midi

is it possibly to fix a bad midi input.....cuz both my midi 1 and 2 are not responding. I don't know if I should open up the 2500 or take it to a professional to try to get it fixed, or get another one(but I don't have no money for another one).

Try reinstalling the OS. If that doesn't work, go to the dealer you got it from and claim your warranty.
