How do you export a song?

so I've made a song its all on the MPC, how do I get it off into a convenient mp3 file that sounds good?

I did mpc output --> computer mic input and recorded with soundforge, sounds horrible with a lot of interference and buzzing.

whats the proper way to do this?

Since you dont have an soundcard/audio interface, your gonna have to resample your song in the mpc. Play the song, and record into the "Main outs." Save this .wav sample to your hd/cf card, and the send the file to your comp through the usb port. Once you have the .wav in your comp, you can use soundforge (or another program of your choice) to convert it into an mp3 file

lol, it doesnt ALWAYS sound horrible doing it that way, but ye its not the best way to do it. im still recording to my standard line in on my soundcard, and its fine when i record into cubase.

Right, you don't need a new soundcard, you just need to use Line In instead of Mic In.
