protools ??

for any protools user im having a problem slaving my mp too pt , protools is recording too fast,if i set the tempo on the transport too 98 seems too still record as if it was on manual tempo 120bpm,it picks up the midi from the mp just recording too fast! i just switched too a motu av midi timepiece cause my m-audio wasnt working ,if you have any knowledge of this pls reply

If you are using MTC to slave, you need to set the tempos manually. MTC does not provide tempo information.
