I'm right if I say that the mpc doesn't save the bankpreset thru midi right?
So if I save a project (entire memory), reload it after I've made something different, then the preset that is currently active will be the one that will be played right?

For instance:
project 1, midi channel 1, Sine wave, save entire memory

project 2, midi channel 1, saw wave, save entire memory

reload project 1, midi channel 1, saw wave (cause this is what is currently active on a synth? right?

You could add a "Bank Select" CC event into your sequence that makes sure the right bank is always selected on your synth.

Enlighten me on the subject please.
I'm not a fully fledged midinerd yet, so I need proper learning hehe
It would simplify things abit if I learned this.
Thanks.

It's in chapter 5 of the manual. You can insert a number of MIDI "Control Change" events in Step Edit. One of them is Bank Select MSB and Bank Select LSB. Now what you have to set these to resp. what they do with your synth should be explained in the manual of your synth.

Maybe you don't even need these but a "Program Change" event will do the job as well. Try it out what your synth does when you sent this to it through MIDI.
