Anybody else have to save their projects twice to get them to load correctly? If I only save it once on my 2500, it won't load the programs to the sequences corretly for some reason. It will just have the PGM field with a ?Program next to it, then I have to manually click all the tracks to the right program. Extremely annoying :evil:. When I save the project twice though, it loads up fine for some reason. Is this some kind of bug? It used to do it on the other 2500 I had before this one too.

I never tried saving twice, but I know that saving projects once wont do it. Akai really needs to work out the saving issue, cuz it's just ridiculous having the programs be blank after I load up a project file

...Does the JJ OS have this problem?

I recently had to load a project up twice to get everything right...

Good, at least I'm not the only one. The trick I do is to put all my sequences in song format, save, and then load it up again, put all the correct tracks to their programs, and then save again naming and replacing the same project file. It seems to work most of the time. Move it Akai :roll: !

Never had it.

I know most of you are, but are we all doing;
Progs n Samples
Seqs n Songs
Entire Mem

?

I always save Entire Memory. This usually works with no problem. If it shows an error while saving, I just try it again in a new folder, and I'm set.

I just found it curious that once after loading the project file again, it didn't properly set up all the tracks and programs.

Once? I would pay money for it to only happen once. And this happens when I save programs and seq and songs seperate and then load them up seperate, or when I save entire memory. In my defense I still am on the first Akai OS, but it used to do this crap on my other 25k on 1.2, but I can't remember if it was this frequent.

In any case I would update to OS 1.22.

since 5.09 i have had to save twice for projects to work. the first time i load a saved project i get all those scrambled figures. then i have to manually load each program and save again. it's fine after that.

Were do you all find these problems? I guess I'm damn lucky cause I have never had a problem with my mpc. Don't judge me, but I'm thinking you're doing something wrong here. Getting the programs mixed up, accidently saving to a folder for a different beat or something...the closest thing I come to a problem with my mpc would be that I forget to eat to replenish my energy to use it...
