Downloaded new sounds but cannot hear them...

I bought and downloaded a few new kits from MPC-Samples.com and I transferred them onto the MPC correctly (i think, I mean I can see them there in name) but I cannot hear them when I attempt to play them into the computer. any help will be greatly appreciated.
