Chop question!!

when i chop,it's better to let the timing off,or put on 1/16 or other timing.

It really depends on the sample, and how well your own personal timing is. Under normal circumstances, I usually leave timing at 1/16, but there are some cases where i'll turn the timing off completely..... times where you can't get the drums to sit well with the chops.
