"fit to" function

I don’t know if this is already a feature but I would like to see a feature that would fit a sample to a certain number of beats, for instance a 2 bar sample would be fit to 8 beats and or a one bar sample would be fit to 4 beats and then the sample would change length along with the tempo of the sequence also the option to have this change the pitch or do a time stretch much like what you can do with fruity loops I am not sure how hard this would be to program but it seems like it would be possible to me

Is this feature already available and I just don’t know how to do it?
